3 metre Buffel Seed Harvester

 

A simple yet effective means of harvesting buffel seed.

 

Our 3 metre model is specially designed for attachment to smaller rubber tyred tractors. It is ideally suited for fitting to front hydraulic lifting arms, though it may be mounted by other means.

 

 

 

As the harvester mover through the pasture, seed is stripped from the plant and thrown onto the floor of the harvester by rotating action of beaters. From here the seed is carried to a point above the machine by an endless (slatted) belt, where it is guided into a suspended wool pack.

 

 

 

 1.  Adjustable cable beater bars:

        - will not crack

        - return to shape after a stump or log is hit

 

 2. Barred steel main belt pullies:

        - reduced incidence of belt slip and clogging

 

 3. Cast iron cased�25mm main beater bearings:

        - all other bearings roller type

 

  4. Endless belt mechanism:

        - belt guides to stop run off

        - easily handles most foreign matter

        - all in one folded main frame

        - lasting strength

 

 6. Reinforced front lower bar to take knocks

 

 7. All pullies are cast iron

        point, so that you will finish the harvest with

        as few hold-ups as possible

        350kg, the 4.5 metre 500kg:

        - easily handled

        - reduce stress on vehicle and its

        connection/lifting arms

 

11. The 3 metre harvester comes complete with a 4hp

        Honda engine, the 4.5 metre with a 5hp Honda

        engine

        - easily carried on a standard 1 tonne utility
